Board of Directors Election Results

On Thursday, January 23rd, 2025, the Asheville Hockey League concluded its Board of Directors election. Over the course of nearly two months, the process involved gathering candidates, having them complete surveys for member review, and conducting the voting. As a result, the members of AHL have elected their new board members.

Asheville Hockey members were given the option to vote either electronically or in person, choosing from five candidates to fill three available positions. The election results are as follows:

- Anthony Cerrato - 47
- Joseph Geier - 42
- Greg Wilker - 10
- Cory Jackson - 31

In person Votes:
- Austin Gomez - 1
- Anthony Cerrato - 2
- Joseph Geier - 2
- Greg Wilker - 2
- Cory Jackson - 1

Election Results:
- Austin Gomez - 44
- Anthony Cerrato - 49
- Joseph Geier - 44
- Greg Wilker - 12
- Cory Jackson - 32

The Board of Directors subsequently convened to confirm the executive committee for the upcoming year. The following directors were confirmed:

• President: Anthony Cerrato
• Vice President: Dan Dean
• Treasurer: Jay Curwen
• Secretary: Justin Wood
• Secretary Advisor: Bart Hodgins
