Fall 2024 C League Champions - Post 25!

Post 25 is your 2024 Fall C Division Champions! 

It was a great Sunday for hockey as the six C Division teams battles hard in three round robin games before playoffs. The round robin games were added to each teams record before Hurricane Helene hit Western North Carolina area.

The final regular season standings:

1. Deth Hearts: 5-1-1

2. Post 25: 4-2-1

3.Social Lounge: 3-2-2

4. Blue Ridge Contracting: 3-4-0

5. Hillman Beer: 2-5-0

6. Pure & Proper: 2-5-0

Deth Hearts & Post 25 were given first round bye's due to being the 1 and 2 seeds.

In the first quarterfinal game, #3 Social Lounge played #6 Pure & Proper. Pure & Proper dominated the game winning 8 to 2.

In the second Quarterfinal game, #4 Blue Ridge Contracting played #5 Hillman Beer. In a thrilling game, Hillman Beer was able to win 4 to 3 in overtime.

The first semi-final matchup was #1 Deth Hearts vs #6 Pure & Proper. The theme of close games continued as this game went to overtime. Pure & Proper was able to stun Deth Hearts in the upset.

In the second Semi-final game, #2 Post 25 played #5 Hillman Beer. Post 25 was able to get a lead on Hillman and held it for a 3 to 1 win.

The finals was between #2 Post 25 and #6 Pure & Proper. Post 25 held a two to three goal lead the entire game but late in the third Pure & Proper started scoring. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time in the game as Pure & Proper came close to tying it with the onslaught of shots in the dying seconds of the game. Post 25 wins the championship 3 to 2.
